Classic lager yeast “aus Deutschland”. Crafts a maltier, bolder beer than the Czech pilsner. Produces high levels of sulphites when fermented at higher temperatures so it is only recommended to be used at a lower temperature. Mainly recommended for Oktoberfest type lagers.
